Unabashedly going to admit recent ownership of a similar department store women’s 3 speed shifter until its untimely demise (thanks SEPTA trolley tracks for forcing me to switch!)

It would be absurd to feel disappointed in (and even more absurd to feel disapproval and condescension toward) Woody Allen for having not created a Shrek-2 like movie. It would, I feel, be reasonable to just go see “Shrek 2” (and you also wouldn’t be “shit-talking” the efforts of people you don’t know and have never met and have no direct information about and who themselves are not “shit-talking” others but simply creating the art that they want to create).
Oh, Tao Lin said it nicely as well.

Retro-funk music video with hints of Cat Power? YES.
An aside - there’ve been a ton of retro music videos popping out of the woodwork recently, and I don’t mind in the slightest. Favs are by far Lana, and strangely enough, Broad City’s one episode (?!)
LET ME KISS YOUR FACE WITH MY FACE. YOU ARE AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE DAY I MET YOU.
YOU’RE OBVIOUSLY DRUNK.
DRUNK ON YOUR BEAUTY.
SMELLS LIKE MAKER’S MARK TO ME.
I’M GOING TO MAKE A MARK ON THAT FINE ASS OF YOURS.
I LIKE YOU WHEN YOU’RE DRUNK.
I LOVE YOU WHEN I’M NOT.

“I was a fugitive. I was a wanted man, a hunted man, with a price on my head. And I was still one step ahead of them. I was free. Every day, when you’re on the run, is the whole of your life. Every free minute is a short story with a happy ending.”
